Español: JULIO PINTO, HURGANDO EN NUESTRA IDENTIDAD

Julio Pinto Vallejos tiene una larga trayectoria académica. Durante más de 30 años se ha dedicado a la investigación y a la docencia, abordando desde distintas perspectivas el complejo tema de la identidad nacional, su construcción y su significado a lo largo de nuestra historia republicana.

Es por ello que el pasado 22 de agosto recibió una llamada telefónica de la Ministra de Educación que le informaba de su premio. Sin embargo, ese triunfo no es solo un reconocimiento a sus méritos personales sino también, al trabajo constante en universidades públicas y a su dilatada lista de publicaciones, ya sea de modo individual o colectivo.
