Description
English: Vacherie, LA, November 14, 2005 - Johanna Von Hofe, a fifth grade teacher from Little Woods Elementary in east New Orleans, checks out housing assistance applications at a DRC in south central Louisiana. Hurricane Katrina shut down her school, but as a member of "Teach for America" she was hired by FEMA to help local persons affected by the storm to apply for assistance. Photo by Greg Henshall / FEMA
